Shepherd and the Gospel

Yahweh Ya-rah. The Lord is my Shepherd. Shepherd comes from two words in Hebrew, “hand” (Ya) and “evil” (rah). The Shepherd is aware of evil and takes it in hand. He controls it and protects others from it. Evil rises upon the hills. But the good order of the universe is not threatened by it. The sun will still rise tomorrow. The rain will fall upon the earth. The heavens will be the constants of the ages.

Evil will not go unchecked. Yahweh takes it in hand and uses it for His purposes. Jerusalem is handed over to Nebechadnezzar. Evil does not triumph.
